Dr Phanenmo Kath, a passionate counsellor, is an Associate Professor of Pastoral Counselling and Psychology at Eastern Theological College, Jorhat, Assam. He is the Dean of Institute for Leadership Enhancement and Ministry Augmentation (ILEMA); Editor of the Journal of Church and Society in North East India. He hold Post Graduate in Human Resource Development. He received his BD, M.Th and D.Th degrees from the Senate of Serampore University. He is an ordained Baptist Minister from Nagaland. He is recipient of National Research Fellowship (UGC) Senior Research Fellow for Doctoral Research; also awarded Master's Prize along with Three Prestigious Academic Excellent Awards for his M.Th Studies (2007): Rev Dayanand D. Pitamber Memorial Prize in Counselling, CSI Diocese of Madras in Christian Ministry, Dr C. Devasahayam Prize in Christian Ministry. He has authored one of the bestselling books, Human Sexuality: Endangered Morality in Cyber-sonic Era (2009). His other published books are: Glimpses of Naga Legacy and Culture (2012), Fables Folktales and Folklore: Narrating Indigenous Tales of NEI (2017), Shepherding the 21st Century Church: Models for Ministry (2020). He has written many scholarly articles in reputed journals. He extensively travels for consultation on theological concerns, resource person for seminars on various church programmes at regional and national levels.
